Foot Health Practitioner

Foot Health Practitioners (FHPs) serve as the primary contact for comprehensive foot care and maintenance for those fully qualified and licensed. As your Foot Health Practitioner I am equipped to address various conditions and can direct you to a General Practitioner (GP) or Podiatrist for further treatment when necessary.

At Fine Fettle Foot Care, I address a wide range of common foot conditions, including routine nail care, corns, calluses, diabetic care, and functional foot issues. Foot Health Practitioners can also assist individuals with mobility or flexibility limitations, or those lacking the hand strength needed for nail clipping.

Many individuals rely on Foot Health Practitioner services to maintain foot health when self-care becomes challenging. My services are sought after for addressing difficult-to-treat areas or persistent issues that haven't responded to other treatments or home remedies.

Key Benefits

  • Comprehensive foot health maintenance
  • Overall health enhancement
  • Improved mobility
  • Cost-effectiveness

Foot Health Practitioners vs Podiatrist

Podiatrists, formerly known as Chiropodists, are registered professionals specialising in lower limb care. They diagnose biomechanical issues, prescribe custom orthotics, and perform minor surgeries like ingrown toenail removal.

If you require general foot care, a Foot Health Practitioner is your go-to professional.

The Benefits of Foot Care

A foot care session could include the following:

A full assessment of your feet, including taking medical details

Trimming and filing of toe nails

Reducing any thickened toe nails

Enucleating any corns (hard corns, soft corns and seed corns)

Cleansing the foot with skin disinfectant pre, during and post treatment

Dressing and padding if required
